Ramon Valentin Duran, 79, of Hartford, CT passed away Friday, April 19, 2024 at home. Ramon was born in Las Marias, PR and was the son of the late Emiliano and Maria (Torres) Valentin. Ramon was a good father, stepfather, grandfather, uncle and a friend. He was also a Yankees fan. He work very hard and always took care of family and friends. Ramon retired from the VNA health care in 2013 and he also worked at Hughes health rehabilitation and retired in 2022.

Ramon is survived by his children, Ana J. Valentin, Ramon Valentin Jr. and stepdaughter Maria Y. Carrasco. three grandchildren, Kevin K. Ajodhi, Alyssa N. Ajodhi, Vanessa S. Ajodhi.  five step grandchildren Maria E. Carrasco, Luis M. Carrasco, Wilfredo Carrasco, Darlene Carrasco, Ana Elizabeth Sanchez. Brother Jose Valentin, sister in law Amada Valentin and their children Maria Valentin , Jose Valentin, many nieces and nephews that live in Puerto Rico. Predeceased by his wife Ana L. Valentin, brothers Jaime Valentin, Angel L. Valentin and by his parents.

Funeral service for Ramon will be held Wednesday, April 24, 2024 at 11 am at St. Augustine Church, 10 Campfield Ave., Hartford, CT. Burial will be in Cedar Hill Cemetery, Hartford.
