Reinalda Mercado, 78, of Hartford, passed away on September 25, 2016 at home surrounded by her family. Born in Isabela, Puerto Rico, Reinalda was the daughter of the late Manuel Mercado and Maria Segui. She leaves behind by her two daughters, Lina Marrero and her husband Jorge of Puerto Rico, and Luz Marrero of South Windsor. Reinalda is also survived by her five grandchildren, Jorge and his finacee Delmaris, Alexandra, Samantha, Natallie, and Jennifer, two great-grandchildren Janiel and Janeiris, and many nieces and nephews. Her smile and spirit will live with us forever! The funeral will be held Friday, September 30, 9 a.m. at the Dillon-Baxter Funeral Home, 1276 Berlin Turnpike, Wethersfield, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial, 10 a.m., at St. Augustine Church, 10 Campfield Ave, Hartford. Entombment will follow in Mt. St. Benedict Cemetery, Bloomfield.
