Reinaldo Ortiz passed away peacefully at his home on Tuesday, October 27, 2015 at the age of 77. He was predeceased by his wife Aida. He leaves behind his loving children Magdiel Ortiz, wife Carmen, Melvin Ortiz, wife Carol, and Aida Mancini, husband Michael. He was the proud grandfather of Carolyn (Lisy), Ricky (Rey), Justin (Josi, el mudo), and great granddaughter Makayla Star. Reinaldo will be remembered by his family and friends as the Greatest Red Sox fan that ever lived. Calling hours will be held Friday, October, 30, between the hours of 10am-12noon at Dillon-Baxter Funeral Home, 1276 Berlin Tpke, Wethersfield. A vigil service will be held at 12:15pm, followed by a burial service at Cedar Hill Cemetery, Hartford. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made on his behalf to the American Lung Association, East Hartford or the Helen & Harry Gray Cancer Center, Hartford.
