Richard W. Dillon, 84, of West Hartford, CT beloved husband of Elizabeth "Betsy" (Waddy) Dillon passed away Monday, November 10, 2025. Richard was born in Torrington, CT and was the son of the late Richard and Dorothy (Williston) Dillon. Rick attended Burdett Business School in Boston before becoming CEO of Dillon Mailing Bureau. He was a member of the Hartford Kiwanis Club and a Son of the American Revolution. Rick loved his children, his country and God.

Besides his wife Elizabeth (Betsy), Richard is survived by his three sons: John Dillon and his wife Amy, Tim Dillon and his wife Lisette both from Naples, FL; Stephen Dillon and his wife Sarah of Farmington, CT and his daughter Caroline Dillon of West Hartford, CT. Rick is survived by his eight grandchildren: MacKenna Dillon Benson and her husband Chris of Manchester, NH, Teagan Dillon of Austin, TX, Tylar Elizabeth Dillon of Denver, CO, RuthAnn Dillon of Attleboro, MA, Holly Dillon of West Hartford, CT, and Matthew, Hunter and Hayden Dillon of Farmington, CT. Rick is also survived by his brother, Davis Dillon and his wife Barbara of Ipswich MA.

Funeral services for Richard will be held Saturday, November 15, 2025 at 10am at St. Patrick – St. Anthony Parish, 285 Church St., Hartford, CT. Burial will be in Mt. St. Benedict Cemetery, Bloomfield, CT. Relatives and friends may call at St. Patrick – St. Anthony Parish, Saturday from 9am to 10am.
