Robert " Bob" Winchell, of Newington, beloved husband and soul mate of Susan (Clark) Winchell, passed away suddenly on Saturday October 2, 2021. He was born in Rockville, CT, son of the late Howard and Marcella (Sepanski) Winchell and had lived in Newington for the past 47 years. Prior to his retirement, Bob was a graphic artist in the printing field. He was an avid boater and was known as "Captain Bob." He enjoyed gardening. He had a great passion for sports cars and cherished all of his dogs, especially Jack.

Along with his loving wife, Bob is survived by his two devoted loving daughters that he cherished, Patricia Winchell Bjorklund of Vernon, and Belleann Maffessoli and her husband Sal, also of Vernon, his grandchildren; Kyle Robert Bjorklund and Jamie Dagon, his great granddaughter, Hattie Sue Dagon and her daddy Ryan Dagon. He is also survived by his brothers; Alan Abel and Thomas Zelek, his sister, Mary Ann Winchell, a sister in law, Joan Winchell, several nieces and nephews, and his buddies, Larry DeMar and Ted Linger. Bob was also predeceased by his loving mother inlaw Nathalie Coffron Clark, two brothers; Donald and Walter Winchell, and a sister Doris Puro.
