Rosa M. Nelson, 91, of Hartford, died Sunday, June 7, 2015. Born in Sisters Village, Guyana, she was the daughter of the late Walter and Mabel (James) Fortune.

Rosa is survived by her daughters Beverly Fraser and husband Peter, Marlyn Moore and husband Donovan, Lorna Nelson, Lorine Ridley and husband Oraine, Ellie Thomas and husband Brian, Ingrid Nelson, Holly Nelson; a sister Frances Hopkinson; 11 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased in life by her husband Arnold Nelson and daughter Ansie Paul.

Calling hours will be Friday, June 12, 2015, 10am-11am, at the Kingdom Hall, 29 Wadsworth St., Hartford. A funeral service will follow at the Kingdom Hall at 11am. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery in Rocky Hill. To share a memory with the family please visit www.dillonbaxter.com
