Rose (Rizzo) Bottoni, 86, of Wethersfield, wife of the late Angelo Bottoni died, Sunday, May 15, 2011 at Hartford Hospital. She was born in Providence, RI daughter of the late Cosimo and Jennie (Calidoi) Rizzo and had lived in Wethersfield for many years. Prior to her retirement, Rose was an Assistant Director with Traveler's Insurance Co. where she worked for 40 years. She was a member of the Traveler's Women's Club, a communicant of Incarnation Church and a member of the Women's Club of the church. She is survived by her loving sister, Antonetta Lepore of Wethersfield, her sister-in-law Myrtle Rizzo of Newington, two nephews, Russell Rizzo and his wife Diane of New York, Steven Rizzo and his wife Debbie of Middletown, two nieces, Janice Rizzo of Newington, and Sara Rizzo of New York. The funeral will be Friday, May 20th, 11:00 from The Dillon-Baxter Funeral Home, 1276 Berlin Tpke. Wethersfield, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial, 11:30 a.m. Incarnation Church, 544 Prospect St. Wethersfield. Burial will follow in Cedar Hill Cemetery, Hartford.
