Steria Sanducu, 65, of Manchester, died, Sunday, June 26, 2011 at Hartford Hospital. She was born in Jidvei, Romania, she immigrated to the U.S. in 1995. She worked at a day care center in Romania. Steria was a member of Three Angels 7th Day Adventist Church in Newington. She is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Radu and Linda Sanducu of Manchester, and Ion and Elaina Sanducu of Romania, a daughter, Tamara Elena Pop of Romania, ten grandchildren Kim, Ngan, Sabryna, John, Costel, Vlad, Maria and Her husband Dinu,Alexandr, Cristina and Andreia, a great grandchild Andrei, several friends, Narcis Etem and Maia Etem both of Manchester, and Elizabeta Celani of Windsor. The funeral will be Friday, July, 1, 2011, 1 p.m. at The Dillon-Baxter Funeral Home, 1276 Berlin Tpke. Wethersfield with Pastor Kevin Plaisted officiating. Burial will follow in West Meadow Cemetery, Newington. Friends may call Thursday, 4-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
