Tatiana "Tanya" Bogar, 96, passed away July 11, 2021. She was born in Kiev, Ukraine on August 14, 1924 and married Serge Bogar in May 1943. They emigrated to the United States in 1948. Tanya was a long-time resident of East Hartford, CT. She worked for over 40 years at Hartford Hospital. She enjoyed reading, traveling, tennis, and the performing arts and shared her love of these with her children and grandchildren. She is survived by her two sons, Walter Bogar and his wife Susan of Vernon, CT and Paul Bogar of Middletown, CT; her grandchildren, Ajah Manzanares, Ashley Blaisdell, and Tyler Bogar; and her great-granddaughter, Mariah Bogar. She was predeceased by her husband Serge Bogar in 2006.
