Tomas Vega, 75, of Hartford, CT passed away Wednesday, June 22, 2022 at home. Tomas was born in Vega Baja, Puerto Rico and was the son of the late Tomas and Julia (Oquendo) Vega. He worked as a laborer for HI-G Electronics.

Tomas is survived by his beloved wife Carmen Avenaut, his two sons Hiram Vega and Jose Vega, his daughter Melissa Vega, his stepchildren Luis Diaz, Iris Santiago and Deisy Melendez, his three sisters Dolores Vega, Lydia Vega and Loyda Vega and his brother Ariel Vega.

A Celebration of Tomas' life will be held Sunday, June 26, 2022 from 1:00 p..m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Dillon-Baxter Funeral Home, 1276 Berlin Turnpike, Wethersfield, CT. Burial will be private.
