Victor Besnea, 88, beloved husband of Alexandrina Bensea, passed away on July 10, 2016 at home. Born in Tepes, Voda, Romania, he was the son of the late Nicolae and Maria (Blându) Besnea. He worked as an environmental engineer for the Romanian government until retiring in 1991. Besides his wife, Victor leaves behind his son Diodor Besnea of Toronto, Canada, his daughter Simona Trofimov and her husband Silviu of Farmington, his sister Ioana Besnea of Romania, and three grandchildren. The funeral will be 1:00PM, Wednesday, July 13, at the Dillon-Baxter Funeral Home, 1276 Berlin Turnpike, Wethersfield. Burial will follow in Riverside Cemetery, Farmington.
