Victor M. Guzman, 65, of Hartford, died, Tuesday, July 12, 2011 at his home. He was born in Aguas, Buenas, Puerto Rico son of the late Gabino and Julia (Vazquez) Guzman. Prior to his retirement, Victor worked for the U.S. Postal Service for 30 years. He was a communicant of St. Augustine Church, a U.S. Army Veteran a devoted father, grandfather and brother. He is survived by four sons, Carlos, Jose, Javier and Joel Guzman all of Hartford, two sisters, Elena Rodriguez and her husband Israel and Carmen Guzman both of Hartford, a brother, Graciano Guzman of Hartford five grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. The funeral will be Friday, July 15, 2011, 9:15 a.m. from The Dillon-Baxter Funeral Home, 1276 Berlin Tpke. Wethersfield, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial, 10 a.m. in St. Augustine Church, 10 Campfield Ave. Hartford. Burial with military honors will be in the State Veterans Cemetery, Middletown.
