Vidya "Yak" Thakur, 61, of Ocala, FL, passed away on December 25, 2011. Born at #67 Village Berbice Guyana, S.A. to PT Thakur (Nath) and Rajkumari Thakur. Vidya Thakur is survived by his daughter Natasha Borody; son-in-law Nicholas Borody; Dianne Thakur; as well as his brothers and sisters; Dr. Parsram Sri Thakur, Dr. Andra Persaud Sri Thakur, Ajawatty and Bodenarain Adhin, Urmila Sri Thakur and Deowraj Buddhu, Kishan Sri Thakur, Dr. Rishee Sri Thakur, Dr. Kapildeo Sri Thakur; nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews; and numerous friends.
