Violeta Heqimaj, 66, of Wethersfield, CT beloved wife of Gramos Heqimaj passed away Sunday, May 11, 2025 at home. Violeta was born in Fier, Albania and was the daughter of Hajrie (Basha) and the late Bilal Xhelaj. She enjoyed cooking for her family and loved spending time with them. Violeta was very kind to everyone. Shea owned a boutique in Albania before coming to the United States.

Besides her husband Gramos, Violeta is survived by her two sons Artjan Heqimaj and his wife Esuida and grandson Ryan and Nikola Heqimaj and his wife Enkeleda, her three brothers Fuat Xhelaj, Pelivan Xhelaj and Ylli Xhelaj, her two sisters Hatixhe Bedri and Zenepe Kapaj as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Funeral service for Violeta will be held Wednesday, May 14, 2025 at 11am at the Dillon-Baxter Funeral Home, 1276 Berlin Tpke., Wethersfield, CT. Burial will be in Cedar Hill Cemetery, Hartford.
