Paraskevi "Vivian" Nisyrios - Kavroudakis, 57, of Newington, passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, January 6, 2024 surrounded by her loving family.  She was born in Rhodes, Greece on February 3rd, 1966; the youngest child and only daughter of Pandelis and Anastasia Nisyrios. Vivian is predeceased by her parents and her youngest son, Emmanuel Kavroudakis.

Vivian's passion in life was to bring her loved ones together through her amazing cooking and baking. She had a love for decorating, throwing parties and was known as a second mother to many. Vivian's five children were her sole purpose in life and everything she did was for them.

Vivian is survived by four children, Anastasia Kavroudakis (Maykel Porras), Manousos Kavroudakis, Pandelis Kavroudakis and Stavros Kavroudakis (Kevin Cifone) as well as her two beautiful granddaughters, Giuliana and Katarina Porras whom she loved beyond measure.   She also leaves behind her loving brothers, John Nisyrios (Effie), William Nisyrios, Michael Nisyrios (Donna) and many nieces and nephews who adored her.

Vivian was happiest when she was with her family, especially when she spent time with her granddaughters. Vivian will forever be remembered as an amazing cook, her giving nature and her ability to make you smile and feel loved. The family would like to extend their deepest gratitude to the staff at Civita Care Center for the care and love they gave Vivian during her final days.

The funeral service will be held Thursday, January 11, 2024, 11:00 AM at St. George Greek Orthodox Cathedral, 433 Fairfield Ave., Hartford, Ct., 06114, with the Reverend Dr. George Zugravu officiating.  Burial will follow in Cedar Hill Cemetery.  Visiting hours will be Wednesday, January 10, from 5:00-8:00 PM, with a Trysion Service will be held 5:30 at the Dillon-Baxter Funeral Home, 1276 Berlin Turnpike, Wethersfield, CT.
