William C. Roman (Poppi), 74, of Hartford, CT passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family and friends on July 12, 2014. He was born in Anasco, PR, the son of the late Silvestre Roman and Luisa Carrero. He is survived by his wife of 51 years Adelaida Roman; his son William, his wife Susan and their children Julianne and Christopher; his son Anibal; his daughter Maribel, her partner Ron Capone and their son Michael; his daughter Aida and her son Adrian Texidor. He was a devout Catholic who loved life and cared for nothing greater than for his family, especially his grandchildren. He will be missed greatly and never forgotten. We all love you Poppi. A Mass will be held at St. Thomas the Apostle Church on 872 Farmington Avenue in West Hartford on Friday at 10 AM. The Mass will be followed by a burial service at Mount St. Benedicts Cemetery in Bloomfield, CT.
