Xzavier Santiago, 22, of Hartford, passed away on August 8, 2023.  He was born in Hartford on June 19, 2001.

Zay as he was known to his friends and family was a loving, humble and loyal son, nephew and friend. Zay always lit up the room with his smile and made people laugh with his jokes. Xzavier was very caring, always willing to split a plate of food or buy you something at the store. We will miss Xzavier crossing his friends in basketball, listening to music with him and we will reminisce when we all get together over Monopoly. Xzavier had a lot of dreams, goals and was hopeful for the future. His family and friends will continue on with those dreams and goals and remember him for the rest of our lives. He will be forever loved and missed.

He is survived by his father Xavier Santiago, mother Mildred Reyes, grandmother Betsy Maldonado and uncle Felix Santiago.
